Student Workbook for Age 6

This activity workbook is the companion to the Persian for Young Child 3 lesson plan package, created by the Chicago Persian School for six-year-old learners of Persian as a second language (accessible at https://www.perfectyourpersian.com/online-products). This workbook follows themed subjects that align with a child's daily life, including family, food, clothing, the home, the neighborhood, seasons, transportation, jobs, and more. It offers hands-on classroom worksheets built around coloring, cutting, gluing, connecting, and counting, plus gentle tracing pages that let children practice the right-to-left flow of Persian script as drawing readiness, without any formal alphabet instruction. Each lesson opens with a vocabulary and target-sentence page in Persian, English, and easy transliteration, and each closes with simple home pages that carry Persian into the family's week. Oral-first throughout, this workbook builds listening and speaking skills while quietly preparing young hands for the reading and writing that come in later years.
