Persian for Young Child™ 1 (for 3- and 4-year-olds)

A ready-to-teach Persian curriculum for three- and four-year-olds, built for the way our youngest learners take in a language: entirely through song, play, and listening, with no pressure to speak. Developed by the Chicago Persian School, a leader in Persian language education since 2007, it is the same curriculum we use in our own classrooms, now available online to schools, teachers, and families anywhere in the world. What's inside: A complete school year of 30 fully scripted lesson plans, organized around gentle themes from a young child's world: family, animals, food, colors, clothing, the body, and more. Each session comes with matching pages in the companion Student Workbook. Every lesson includes keywords in Persian, English, and easy transliteration; listening and rhythm play; songs and movement; simple games and crafts; picture stories; and classroom worksheets done together in class. Our approach: At three and four, understanding runs far ahead of speaking. A child may listen happily for weeks before saying a single Persian word — and that is exactly how it should be. This package never pushes a child to perform.
